Celebrate the holidays with your fellow freelancers

by Sherry Heyl

The holidays are a great time to make new connections and celebrate with old friends. As more and more people are making the career decision to freelance, networking and strengthening relationships is imperative.

Freelancers Union based out of NYC. They are leading the way in supporting Freelancers with resources and lobbying needed to run a successful business. There are chapters throughout the country, including the one I have gotten involved with in ATL. Each chapter has a monthly networking and educational meeting.

The next one is the holiday party on Dec. 6.
I want to especially thank Terri Thornton for introducing us to Olmsted Chamblee who will be hosting the party in their beautiful space. Olmsted is a great example of how the freelancer and work at home movement is growing. Their lobby doubles as a cool co-working and gathering space. If you are able to join us, please RSVP here.
